Vandals Improve Baker Image at No Charge to His Campaign

A letter slipped under the door of the editorial desk of HSO claimed responsibility for improvements made to the local candidate James Bakers Campaign signs.
The letter, signed by "The Newton Field Coffee Group", claimed they acted out a sense of charity and civic responsibility toward the Hudson Community.
The group claimed they were motivated to alleviate the suffering caused by eyestrain they felt observers must have suffered as they gawked at the 8 ft. tall monstrosities.
They also praised editors at HSO for their continued good work of censoring the local Anti-Education Group but they also alluded to dissention between battling NFCG factions. There had been rumors that one faction within the group felt it was better for AEG (The anti-education group ) to be allowed to freely express themselves because nobody in their right mind would adopt their ludicrous positions. But the opposing group countered with the argument, "The people elected Bush, didn't they?"
This shadowy group also offered to purchase 2 additional subscriptions to make up for the lost revenue caused by critical subscribers recently cancelling their HSO subscriptions. HSO officials said they could have used the extra funds, because without those 2 subscriptions their accountants were advising them to consider going into Chapter 11 Bandruptcy. However, the un-named HSO officer continued saying. "We could not in good conscience accept funds from terrorists".
The closing paragraph of the letter made some cryptic reference to Baker's campaign paying for the signage
improvements. But the "The Newton Field Coffee Group" also stated, that "We won't charge to Baker Campaign this time, we consider it an act of charity."

Personally, I think Pre-Vandalized Sign Company, Inc. is going to be really ticked that the Coffee Club did this to their sign. It takes years of research and development For PVSC, Inc. to produce signs which look like sh*t right off the assembly line. Do you think a Stars & Moon motif comes out of nowhere?? This is the work product of a top notch designer. The Coffee Club is in deep doo-doo over this one.

I don't often have to paly the word police, but I know CK, the OTBL admin, is a frequent reader of this site and he doesn't like it when people write sh*t. That is considered lewd and vulgar on his site. His property values far exceeds mine. If we ever hope to over that his blog in value, we need to watch our language. From now on, try using **i*. We wouldn't want to lose any of our readers. It not like they are going to cancel their subscription.

Dear Sign Police,
I think you may be surprised to hear
that The Coffee Club is in negotionations with PVSC (Pre-Vandalized Sign Company) to forge an agreement that stipulates that regardless of alterations made by the Coffee Club, they will in no shape or manner make the altered sign look better than the originals.

Excellent work secret member. I'm sure the candidate would approve of this dumbing-down to the lowest common denominator.

Yea, if ye dumbs it down to the lowest common denominator, the Candidate will still have something to look up to.

You have no idea how many stock options in abovetheborderline.blogspot.com I had to give them in order to seal the deal.
