Palin Tap Dances For God

The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively that Sarah's oldest son, Track, was addicted to the power drug OxyContin for nearly the past two years, snorting it, eating it, smoking it and even injecting it. And as Track, 19, heads to Iraq as part of the U.S. armed forces, Sarah and her husband Todd were powerless to stop his wild antics, detailed in the new issue of The ENQUIRER, which goes on sale today.

THE ENQUIRER also has exclusive details about Track's use of other drugs, including cocaine, and his involvement in a notorious local vandalism incident.

“I’ve partied with him (Track) for years,” a source disclosed. “I’ve seen him snort cocaine, snort and smoke OxyContin, drink booze and smoke weed.”

The source also divulged the girls would do anything for Track and he’d use his local celebrity status to manipulate other guys “to get them to steal things he wanted.”

“He finally did what a lot of troubled kids here do,” the source divulged. “You join the military.”

Just like the Kennedys.

Nothing like the Kennedy's.

Great stuff, Sunny.

But if Track really is a former (or current) cocaine abuser, why doesn't he just admit it, like Obama has done?

I am glad to hear, howrver, that there is no suggestion that Sarah palin is a current or former illegal drug user. I'm not sure I would want to elect someone to high office who has such a history.

Obama says, "I blew a few smoke rings, remembering those years. Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it."

I have no problem with having a former illegal drug user running the country. When I was growing up, it was part of growing up. Still is. Anyone who has drank a beer under who is under the legal age is an illegal drug user. If fact, the fine for drinking under age is about the same as getting bust for possession of pot. Both Palin and Obama have admitted to using illegal drugs in their youth. I suppose Biden and McCain could might abuse their Viagra prescriptions occasionally.

Normally, you would not find postings link to the National Enquirer on this highly respected pillar of the blog-o-sphere. However, I find the tone and character of the 2008 Presidential election worthy of such stooping.

Is it stooping to quote an actual admission made on tape?

"I only did cocaine to stay awake to make sure nobody else did too much cocaine. That was the only reason I ever did it. Heh heh."

Al Franken

As recounted in "The oral history of Saturday Night Live," assembled by James Miller and Tom Shales, (pages 119-120) where Franken talks about using cocaine while pulling all nighters writing for the show.
