NYPD Infiltrated "Billionaires For Bush"
City Police Spied Broadly Before G.O.P. Convention
The satirical performance troupe Billionaires for Bush, which specializes in lampooning the Bush administration by dressing in tuxedos and flapper gowns, was described in an intelligence digest on Jan. 23, 2004.
“Billionaires for Bush is an activist group forged as a mockery of the current president and political policies,” the report said. “Preliminary intelligence indicates that this group is raising funds for expansion and support of anti-R.N.C. activist organizations.”
Marco Ceglie, who performs as Monet Oliver dePlace in Billionaires for Bush, said he had suspected that the group was under surveillance by federal agents — not necessarily police officers — during weekly meetings in a downtown loft and at events around the country in the summer of 2004.
“It was a running joke that some of the new faces were 25- to 32-year-old males asking, ‘First name, last name?’ ” Mr. Ceglie said. “Some people didn’t care; it bothered me and a couple of other leaders, but we didn’t want to make a big stink because we didn’t want to look paranoid. We applied to the F.B.I. under the Freedom of Information Act to see if there’s a file, but the answer came back that ‘we cannot confirm or deny.’ ”

I'm all about making money
It's not funny to make fun of billionaires. It's ok to joke about millionaires.
Hey Rocket,
You must be part of the 40% of the population that believe they are in or will someday be in the top .05% of
wealth. On your death bed, be sure to
check with U-haul to arrange for vehicles to take all that money with you.
Warren,
I have no problem with your billions.
You've never flaunted them, you've been supportive of working people, you live in the same house you bought in the 50's for $30,000. You may be one of the few billionaires that deserve respect.
Why would where a person lives make you respect a man?
Is there a sliding scale of respect?
Billionaries get 0
Millionaires get 1
Midlle class get 2
Trailer trash get 3
HOmeless get 4
Pretty simple CATO:
From what I've read about Warren Buffet and when I've heard him speak on television, he has never appeared to be greedy.
Pasted from dreaded WIKIPedia:
"In June 2006, he made a commitment to give away his fortune to charity, with 83% of it going to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The donation amounts to approximately $30 billion. Buffett's donation is said to be the largest in U.S. history. At the time of the announcement the donation was enough to more than double the size of the foundation.
Despite his immense wealth, Buffett is renowned for his unpretentious and frugal lifestyle. When he spent $9.7 million of Berkshire's funds on a corporate jet in 1989, he jokingly named it "The Indefensible" because of his past criticisms of such purchases by other CEOs.He continues to live in the same house in the central Dundee neighborhood of Omaha, Nebraska that he bought in 1958 for $31,500 (although he also owned a more expensive home in Laguna Beach, California which he sold in 2004). The current estimated value for his Omaha house is around $700,000.
His 2006 annual salary of about $100,000 is tiny by the standards of senior executive remuneration in other comparable companies. CEOs in S&P 500 constituent companies averaged about $9 million compensation in 2003.[9] In 2007, Buffett was listed among Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People in The World."
When a man of Warren Buffet's means chooses to live as frugally as he does, never flaunting his enormous wealth and then to give it away deserves tremendous respect in my book.
If it doesn't in your who cares.
"Greed" eh.
You know what I see? I see a man embarrassed and ashamed of his wealth. By "living frugally" he is actually TRYING to get your respect.
It is the exactly the same as many other rich people who flaunt it to gain respect.
I wouldn't respect either for either of those reasons. Both are appearing to be something with the expressed purposes of gaining other people's respect. It's who a person is that should make you respect a man.
I can't really have much respect for a man who is embarrassed of his wealth, as I've always seen Buffet to be. He is ashamed that he is good at what he does.
CATO Says"
"He is ashamed that he is good at what he does."
You are making assumptions that have no basis in reality. If you'd ever heard Buffet speak he has always said that he was blessed with a talent for making money. I've never seen him apologize for that. I'll agree with one thing you say: "It's who a person is that should make you respect a man."
From what I've see of Buffet, what you seen is what you get.
What's wrong with you socialists? Can't you take a little constructive criticism? Looks like you deleted my comment.

I didn't see whatever post of yours your complaining about getting deleted, but I'm betting it had something to do with tit sucking.
Did you mother have trouble weaning you? Why else would you talk about tit sucking all the time?
