I wonder if Scabs can get scabbed?
Wonder how Northwest "replacement workers" (Scabs)
will feel with they are told their pay will be cut
in half or they'll be replaced with Wal-Mart Mechanics?
I see the Delphi, the GM-spinoff automtive parts makers, is looking to ask their 25,000 unions workers (or less after cuts) to take a 60% cut in pay. Plus GM is pushing for union workers to redo their contract and have the workers pay more for their helath care benefits. What do you call this type of business restructuring? I believe they are calling it "managing legacy costs."
GM also wants Delphi to push a majority of its jobs off shore so GM can better compete with the foreign competition.
