Ah yes, the John Birch Society. That's the outfit that Bill Buckley kicked out of the modern conservative movement in the early 1960's, properly labeling them "idiotic" and "paranoid."
The early 1960's was an important time of change in American politics; it also saw LBJ kicking the racist Jim Crow segregationists out of the Democrat party. Speaking of which, do you have Democrat Jim Crow records in your collection, Andy?
