Great quote - it highlights the etymology of the word boondoggle as being synomomous with ineffective government programs. Particularly apropos in this time of feckless and irresponsible government bailouts.
If I didn't know better, I'd think you had finally picked up and read "The Forgotten Man" by Amity Shlaes.
