But even the lowliness of that is surpassed by the rudeness and crudeness of OTBLers who stand and applaud when school administrators announce their retirements.
Or paint huge "Taxe Penis" signs to promote their candidates abhorance of public education funding.

I'm no Bible thumper. But when it is
relavent I will stoop to quoting the Good Book. With people like you roaming the blogoshpere and the halls of power I have to wonder if there isn't something to Biblical prophecey.
---------
"But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;

Sounds like disciples of Autie Aynie to me.Andy Randhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05322038978217816765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13208607.post-1150821307691532572006-06-20T09:35:00.000-07:002006-06-20T09:35:00.000-07:00An "unlibertarian generalization"? How so?

As for what they have contributed, the Austrian school of economics and Rand's writings and enduring following which at the least offers a challenge to conventional mysticism are tremendous contributions. This is why people know who Ayn Rand is (and to a lesser extend Ludwig von Mises), and no one knows who the MSPaint artist who places skunks on top of people's heads and calls it humor is.

While libertarains are all about freedom and individuality, we are not postmodernists. Please do not mix us up again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13208607.post-1150807980415609262006-06-20T05:53:00.000-07:002006-06-20T05:53:00.000-07:00CATO:"Better than me..." What would make any of those skunk hat wearing heroes of the OTBL blog better than anyone else? What have they contributed to society, as a collective whole? I can't speak for others on this blog, but I went to private school.

Humor and satire is in the eye of the beholder. Obviously, you don't behold the same eyes as others. And I thought you libertarians where all about individuality. I guess that holds true only when it works for you. Check out the "humor" at OTBL and you'll find much of it is along the lines of pouring gas on cats and striking a match to it. Once again, that humor is in the eye of the beholder.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13208607.post-1150738148697663532006-06-19T10:29:00.000-07:002006-06-19T10:29:00.000-07:00This is pretty worthless. I can see why the other site you obsess over criticizes the schools.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
